Brett Whitfield joined Jumeirah in 2021 as SVP Procurement, managing the full profile of Hotel Procurement for the Group. Previously VP of Procurement at IHG for the EMEAA Region. Brett has a deep international procurement history in the F&B industry from 15 years in Nestle in various senior procurement roles. His diverse international experience comes from being based in, and leading large teams across eight different countries. In addition to some Global Category leadership roles, Brett was Head of Procurement for Nestle in both the UK and Malaysia managing procurement across a diverse spend portfolio across multiple categories in excess of $1BN. Brett’s focus throughout his procurement career has been to upskill the Procurement team and function as a true business partner. Alongside developing a stronger focus on upstream sustainability driven through the right supplier partnership. Managing risk and building supplier capability have played a large role in this journey. Brett has a Master’s Degree in International Business and is a member of the institute of Chartered Shipping and Logistics and an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement.
