Currently Group Finance Director of ARENCO Group and board member of various business verticals of the Group, including the hotels division – Golden Sands Hotels Vijay Raghavan, is a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary from India, with more than 35 years of professional experience in India, Turkey and the UAE. He started his career in 1986 with Ashok Leyland, the second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer in India and a subsidiary of British Leyland. After 6 years of working experience with Leyland, he moved to Istanbul, Turkey, where he worked for Leggett and Platt and Panasonic. Vijay joined the ARENCO Group in 1996 as Group Finance Manager and is currently the Group Finance Director. In this capacity he sits on the board of many Group companies in the Arenco Group and he is also a board member of a listed entity in Oman.
